About Tillman
Tillman C. Carroll is a practicing lawyer in Memphis and practices primarily in the areas of probate, estate and trust matters, estate planning and taxation for over 43 years. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in economics and accounting in 1970 and his Juris Doctorate in 1973, both from the University of Memphis. He is also licensed certified public accountant (CPA, inactive) in Tennessee. Mr. Carroll is admitted to practice in the State of Tennessee, U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Claims Court, and U.S. Supreme Court.
Mr. Carroll and his wife, the former Jane Campbell Wadlington, recently celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary. His interests include scuba diving, fishing, and general aviation as an instrument rated private pilot. He is an active member of the Mississippi Wing of the Civil Air Patrol/ U.S. Air Force Auxiliary, holding the rank of full Colonel. Colonel Carroll has served CAP continuously as a senior member in good standing for over 22 years, and served as Mississippi Wing Commander from April 2007 through December 2010. He now serves as the Wing Legal Officer and Director of Finance.
